What this is (and isn't): university-level numbers from 14 independently verified programs and a 356-school tiered-estimate layer built from QS World University Rankings 2026 — the same figures for every student, not matched to your profile. A missing or unranked result reflects a gap in our data or simply an unranked school, not a judgment on the school itself.

Questions students actually ask

Is this really free, no login?

Yes. Paste your shortlist, get every card, no email and no phone number. Nothing you type is stored server-side beyond the request itself.

What does “not in our data yet” actually mean?

It means we hold no cost or salary figures for that school — nothing more. We cover MS Computer Science and Data Science programmes in the US, UK, Germany, Australia and Canada, so a school outside those five countries, or teaching a different subject, will land here. It's a prompt to ask your consultant where the placement and salary numbers for that programme are published, not a verdict on the school.

Why does my consultant's list score so low on data coverage?

Our coverage dataset is built from QS World University Rankings 2026, so it's strongest for the schools students should consider and structurally blind to the ones being pushed hardest by volume-driven agents — often public colleges (Canada), post-92 universities (UK), or private Hochschulen (Germany) that QS doesn't rank at all. A low score here reflects a gap in our data, nothing about the quality of the schools themselves.

How is this different from the full assessment?

This tool shows university-level numbers — the same figures for every student. The full assessment (free, ~3 minutes) matches those numbers against your own GPA, budget, and test scores to show your actual admit odds and personal payback period.

What's the difference between the result states?

A+ means the program is one of our 14 independently sourced, fully verified entries. A means it's in our broader 356-school tiered estimate, built from QS rank and destination job market. C means it isn't in our data — see the question above. We never tell you a school is unranked unless we've actually checked it against a ranking.
